I later called that guy an now that '67 Mustang is one of my treasures! I took some time but I never gave up! This was before I had a computer or ebay! I have since been able to replace all the promos I had as a kid and then some. In 1967 I had a yellow '67 Mustang promo that was stolen out of our car! I only had it 3 days! I was crushed! The color combination on this Maverick is fantastic and really has a great muscle car appeal. Everything form a complete set of decals for the 72 grabber (in any color combination you want), the hood decal is also available in any color you want. Grabbers also came with this nice but subtle rear spoiler, along with the striping down the sides with the Grabber logo. The paint and chrome looks excellent on this Maverick. This hood was offered on 71-72 Grabbers only. Since this is a 1972 Grabber, it has this neat twin scoop hood. From the photos, the quarters look nice, further information would certainly be welcomed on this Ford. We are unsure if that means the car has been repainted, or putty was smeared over minor quarter rust, or what exactly the seller means. The seller apparently had the car running at some point but we are guessing it hasn’t run in a while. Power comes from a Ford 302 cubic inch V8. SCALES:- 1/87 scale is the smallest, then 1/72. I also got Maverick Sprint Decals and some Grabber decals from him. All vehicles sourced from manufacturers such as Cararama, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, High Speed, Real Toy etc. The floor mounted manual shifter draws you in a little more on this cool Ford. Thats a nice model I made my own Mustang spint using a 71-72 Mach 1 1:25 kit then using Sprint decals I got form 'K.Marks' an ebay guy from WPG, MB, Canada. ![]() ![]() The carpet still looks rather plush and not faded.
